# Manual Exit Behavior When Exit Shorts First Is Enabled

## Manual Exit Behavior with **Exit Shorts First**
When **Exit Shorts First** is enabled in **Advanced Settings**, manual exit follows leg-wise execution instead of exiting all legs immediately.

## Key Behavior
* On clicking **Exit Strategy** manually, the **short leg exits first**
* The **remaining leg** exits based on the configured **Advanced Settings**
* Until all legs are exited, the strategy stays in **Exit Pending** mode

## Example

## Example Scenario
* **Exit Shorts First** → Enabled
* **Take Trades – Start Condition Check After Exchange Open** → 1 hour
* Manual exit clicked at **9:15 AM**
**Result:**
* Short leg exits immediately at **9:15 AM**
* Buy leg exits at **10:15 AM**
* Strategy remains in **Exit Pending** mode till 10:15 AM
