How to connect Trading View with Tradetron

How to Integrate TradingView with Tradetron

If you've been wondering how to connect TradingView with Tradetron — whether through a strategy, an indicator, or Pine Script — you're in the right place. This guide answers the most common integration questions in one place.

How Do I Integrate TradingView with Tradetron?

Integrating TradingView with Tradetron allows your TradingView alerts to automatically trigger trades on Tradetron. The integration works by sending webhook alerts from TradingView to Tradetron using a JSON payload and your strategy's unique API token.

For a complete step-by-step walkthrough, follow our official integration guide: 👉 How to Connect TradingView Strategies with Tradetron

You can also follow the video tutorial linked in the blog above for a visual walkthrough.

Can I Integrate TradingView Indicators and Strategies?

Yes, both TradingView indicators and strategies can be integrated with Tradetron. Whether you are using a built-in TradingView indicator or a custom-built strategy, you can set up alerts on any condition and send those signals to Tradetron via webhook.

The same integration steps apply for both. Refer to the integration guide above to get started.

Can I Integrate with Pine Script?

Yes, Pine Script is fully supported. If you have written a custom Pine Script strategy or indicator on TradingView, you can trigger alerts from within your Pine Script code and send those signals directly to Tradetron using the webhook URL and your API token.

The integration process is the same regardless of whether your alert is coming from a built-in indicator or a Pine Script. Follow the integration guide above for the complete setup.

Important Note on QTY and LOTS

When sending signals for quantity, please keep the following in mind:

GET RUNTIME in the FX formula only works when QTY is selected. It will not work if LOTS or VALUE is selected. Make sure your position builder is configured with QTY to ensure the runtime variable is picked up correctly.

If you have any questions or need help with the integration, please reach out to our chat support and we will be happy to assist you.
